Our Fresh from the Wharf class is a must for those who love seafood and are looking to learn some fabulous new recipes and different cooking techniques with a variety of different types of fish and shellfish. With New Zealand's proximity to the sea and the abundance of fresh fish available all year around we will show you how easy this healthy protein is to prepare and cook. We will cover what to look for when purchasing fresh seafood, how to store it correctly at home or whilst out fishing and create a five course menu designed to inspire you. The day will begin at 10am with freshly baked treats from the kitchen, morning cooking demonstrations of each dish followed by a sumptuous seafood feast at the large dining table with matching wines. The day will conclude around 4pm.
